Best Brooks Running Shoes for Every Adventure

As we researched, Brooks has the right pair for road racing, treadmill running, or trail adventures. Brooks shoes are famous for runners due to their comfy feel, solid support, and quality materials.

They produce various running shoes, and although they have fancy ones like the Hyperion Elite for racing, most are for everyday running. Shoes like the Ghost, Glycerin, and Adrenaline are popular because they feel comfortable and last long.

But Brooks doesn’t just have one type of shoe. They make shoes for different needs and likes. Some have extra soft cushioning, some give you a stable ride, others are good for running on trails, and there are also lightweight ones designed for running fast.

These shoes have lots of cushioning, making our runs feel soft and responsive. They’re like running on clouds and help ease our knee pain. The extra padding stood out, even if other Brooks shoes offer more stability.

The Ghost 15 fits well, with a roomy toe box for bunions and a snug feel around the Achilles heel. The padded tab, collar, and tongue add to the overall comfort, but they might get sweaty in hot weather.

The thick rubber outsole protects against wear and tear, and the mesh sides keep things breathable. Even with long wear, we didn’t get blisters.

You can choose from four widths for a custom fit, but the shoe is heavier than the previous model. Still, it’s an excellent choice for neutral runners who want a durable shoe for various activities.

The Brooks Glycerin 20 is a popular choice. It’s one of Brooks’s most cushioned running shoes, giving a cloud-like feel and a smooth stride. Wearing them felt like having supportive, soft pillows on our feet, similar to other top brands. The thick cushioning made it so we barely felt the impact of our feet hitting the ground while running.

The latest version of the Glycerin uses an extraordinary nitrogen infusion process to make the shoe soft and bouncy without losing durability.
The thick, cushioned heel absorbs shock well during long runs, and we found them perfect for cardio classes and even short-track workouts.

Even when wet, they stayed lightweight and didn’t bother us. The engineered air mesh is breathable and snug, preventing blisters. They fit true to size with ample room in the toe box. Wearing them does not cause irritation or pain.
While it’s pricier, we believe the Glycerin is worth the investment.

This shoe is an excellent choice for people with flat or narrow feet or prefer treadmill running over outdoor surfaces. When choosing your size, remember it’s narrow in the back and wider in the front.

If your feet roll inward when you run (that’s called overpronation), the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 is a supportive choice for hitting the road or treadmill. These shoes are not only strong enough to help with overpronation but also ease the everyday pain we feel when walking around.

The Adrenaline GTS uses Brooks’ GuideRails technology, a light and gentle support system that doesn’t rely on a stiff medial post to control extra movement.

If you need running shoes for bad knees, these are great because the GuideRails lets your hips, knees, and joints move naturally while still preventing too much side-to-side motion.

Check out Brooks’ Addiction GTS 15 If your feet are flat and you need a running shoe that gives great support. This shoe is just right when it comes to having the support and cushioning you need.

This shoe is well-known for being a reliable choice in stability running shoes, thanks to Brooks’ GuideRails technology that helps control extra movement.

We like the DNA cushioning system, which helps you adjust your speed, how you run, how much you weigh, and how fast you go.

What’s great is that the upper part of the shoe is breathable and molds to your foot’s shape, giving you an accurate fit. Another bonus is that the Addiction comes in different width sizes and is deep enough to fit inserts, like insoles for flat feet or custom orthotics.

If you’re into bright and fun colors, you might be a bit disappointed because this pair doesn’t have many options. Some people might find these shoes a bit heavier than others because of the extra cushioning and support.

These shoes are convenient for running a lot each week. They’re bouncy, making them a great choice if you want a shoe that feels cozy while working out.

Like other Brooks shoes, the Levitate 6’s cushion adjusts to how you walk and the shape of your foot, giving you a personalized feel. With the special foam they use, these shoes are lighter than most running sneakers, and there’s extra foam to make your stride even bouncier and keep your feet lively.

When you put these shoes on, and the cushioning is great, especially for running on hard surfaces. They’re quick to respond, helping you move smoothly. Even though they have a lot of cushions, the shoes don’t feel heavy at all. They actually feel lighter than we thought.

They also keep our feet at a good temperature, and the cushion and fabric stay in good shape after using them a bunch of times.

Sometimes, when you run for a while, you feel some pain, but these shoes didn’t make it worse. The stretchy upper part of the shoe fits really snugly. There’s lots of space in the toe area, and our feet don’t slip or slide around.

Your heels stay in place without getting blisters, hot spots, or numbness in our toes. The shoes are true to size, but the laces were a bit annoying.
